		abstract={Prisoner is someone who has committed a crime and required to serve his sentence in prison or Lembaga Pemasyarakatan. Prisoners who have entered their 2/3 criminal period or before free must have felt turmoil in him because they are happy to be free from prison soon but afraid too, because the social environment in the future that is still uncertain can accept the prisoner again or not. The turmoil within the prisoner is usually called social anxiety. Sense of humor can reduce pressure or anxiety in a person. The purpose of this study is to see whether there is a relationship between sense of humor and social anxiety in prisoners before being free. The method used here in this study is a quantitative correlational with a subject of 72 inmates. The technique used in this study is probability sampling. The results showed that there was no relationship between sense of humor and social anxiety (r = 0.089, p = 0.457> 0.05).}
