It has chemical contain called citronellal, citronellol, and geraniol which can inhibit bacteria activity. Peel off mask considered as practical and easy to be applicated. The main compound of peel off mask is a film layer such as Polivinyl Alcohol. PVA that can make easy to peel off after drying. Objective: The experiment to identify the impact of PVA on concentration of (8%, 10% and 12%) in peel off mask citronella oil toward the physical quality (organoleptic, homogeneity, spreading , viscosity, and drying time) and chemical (pH), as well as the stability of the peel off gel mask preparation. Methods: The peel off mask citronella oil with PVA concentration 8%, 10%, and 12% were made. Evaluation of the physical characteristics were done (organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, spreading, and drying time), chemical (pH), and stability of the peel off gel mask preparation were evaluated. Result and conclusion: Based on the research result, it showed that with variation of PVA (Polivinyl Alcohol) 8%, 10%, and 12% in peel off mask citronella oil different significantly for viscosity, drying time, and pH test. However, it’s no different significantly for spreading and homogeneity. Stability test showed that all peel off mask remained physically stable for stability freeze thaw and real time method. But, in real time stability test there was method has color change.} }
