YANG BERPOTENSI SEBAGAI AGENSI HAYATI}, year={2019}, url={http://eprints.umm.ac.id/52312/}, abstract={Jatropha curcas L. (Jatropha curcas L.) is a plant native to Central America that has now spread throughout the world, especially in the tropics, with many benefits for every part of its organs. Fusarium sp is a pathogenic fungus that can infect with a very wide host range. One of the potentials of Jatropha as an energy-producing plant can occur due to the presence of several compounds produced by the plant itself, and the existence of associations between plants and other microbes that can have a positive effect. The presence of fungi in endophytic tissue will benefit plants, one of which is by becoming a biological agency that can reduce plant damage by attacking plant disease-causing pathogens so that it will produce a symbiotic mutualism relationship. This study aims to determine the diversity of indigenous endophytic fungi in Jatropha curcas L. to minimize pathogen attack. This research will be conducted at the Biotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture-Animal Husbandry, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This research was carried out for 5 months which lasted from January 2019 until May 2019. The research method used was using exploratory methods. The results of this study indicate that indigenous endophytic fungi that were successfully isolated from root, stem, and leaf tissues obtained 4 types of endophytic fungi, including Fusarium sp. 6 isolates, Aspergillus sp. 8 isolates, Penicillium sp. 2 isolates, and Oidium sp. 4 isolates. The 16 other isolates could not be identified, while the indigineous endophytic fungal antagonist test for the pathogen Fusarium sp. overall it has an average percentage of the growth inhibitor zone of 61.77% which indicates that endophytic fungi have the ability to minimize the growth of pathogenic fungi Fusarium sp.} }
