It applied qualitative approach and obtained the data from Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and Questionnaires. The findings showed that the students’ had several expectations. First, the language used should be in regards to the content and the clarity of the materials. It was supported by the questionnaire result showing that 5 out of 19 students said that mixed language could help teachers in clarity of the material. Second, teachers’ communication would lead to students’ improvement of the English aspects such as the improvement of vocabulary and communication focus. It was supported by the questionnaire result showing that 6 out of 19 students expected teachers should give a number of vocabularies to develop students’ communication in English learning. Third, teachers’ communication would help students achieving the goals of learning the target language. It was supported by the questionnaire results showing that 12 out of 19 students expected their teachers to equip them with English capability because students would apply for jobs and continue their studies at a master’s degree. Finally, students did not mind having both foreign and local teachers as their communication models. It was supported by the questionnaire result showing that 18 out of 19 students stated that their English could not be improved if both local and foreign teachers did not guide them.} }
