The purpose of this research is to influence the variation of teak wood powder composition and starch on composite to sound attenuation and porosity. At this research starch used as a matrix and reinforced with teak wood powder. The composition of variations used is 50% powder and 50% starch, 60% powder and 40% starch, 70% powder and 30% starch. Tests conducted include sound attenuation testing and porosity. The lowest sound attenuation value is found in the composite with a variation of teak wood powder of 70% with a value of 0.0766 at 750 Hz frequency. And the highest is on a composite with a variation of teak wood powder 50% with a value of 0.1566 at a frequency of 750 Hz. Composite with a variation of teak wood powder 50% indicates the price is already qualified ISO 11654 is value (α) more than 0.15. The results of the porosity test of the composite with a variation of teak wood powder 70% by 93.6% got the sound attenuation value (α) of 0.0766, and the porosity of the composite with a variation of teak wood powder 50% of 24.79% got a sound attenuation value (α) amounting to 0.1566. Then it can be said the lower the value of porosity the better the sound attenuation value.} }
