The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The place for this research was held at Vocational High School 3 of Sukabumi City. Subjects taken in this study were students of class X Boutique Clothing of SMK Negeri 3 Sukabumi City which consisted of six students with a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques carried out in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions / verifications. After the data were analyzed then the data was validated with the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, namely by comparing observations, the results of the answers to the subject's diagnostic tests on the test questions and the results of interviews on the subject. The results obtained from this study conducted by the subject is the type of reading error reached 3%, the type of misunderstanding reached 27%, the type of transformation error reached 12%, the type of skill error reached 20%, and the type of mistakes that the subject often made 38%. Factors that cause students to make mistakes are lack of accuracy in solving problems, forgetting formulas, fatigue due to completion of practice, etc. The alternative solution for student errors is by frequently giving various and varied questions about trigonometry material, then the teacher guides and trains students 'skills and students' rigor and is trained to familiarize students in solving questions systematically, then discussed together so that the research subject's understanding is better, so that it will make students accustomed to determining the formula or concept correctly.} }
