		abstract={This study aims to determine the effect of the short film media titled Ini Aku on the ability to write narrative V-2 grade students in learning Indonesian Mathayom level at the Islamic Santitham Foundation School in Southern Thailand. The formulation of the problems in this study include knowing the ability to write narration before using short film media, the ability to write narration after using short film media, and the effect of short film media on students' narrative writing abilities. The method in this study is quantitative, with the design of one group pretest posttest, using random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a test, then analyzed through hypothesis testing. In the pretest an average value of 56.96 was obtained and in the posttest an average value of 58.48 was obtained. The tcount value of 0.69 is consulted with a table with a degree of freedom (dk) N-1 or 31-1 = 30, a significance level of 0.05. So the price is 1.697, then the price is smaller than t table. Based on the results of the t-test stated that the use of short film media titled Ini I did not affect the ability to write narrative V-2 students in learning Indonesian.}
