This type of research is in the form of Quasi Experimental Design with the Noneequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this study is class III A and class III B SD Kebonjati Sukabumi City. Data collection was carried out using a test method consisting of pretest and posttest, and documentation method. Learning carried out in the experimental class using wayang sukuraga media while the control class uses direct learning. Learning is carried out 3 times both in the experimental class and the control class with the same material that is listening to the reading of the story. The calculation results show the experimental class students have higher average learning outcomes compared to the control class. The average final value of the experimental class is 79 while the control class is 57. In addition, the test results from the T test show a significance value of 0,000. The significance value is smaller than 0.05, meaning that there are significant differences in results between the experimental class and the control class.
