This type of research is Action Research using the design of Kemmis and Taggart. The research participants were class IV B students of SDN 1 Cikembar with 39 students. The research subject is loud reading ability. This study was conducted for 2 cycles. Data collection method used were interviews, observation, loud reading ability test, and documentation.the data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. Learning loud reading abilitu using Shared reading method a good process and a positive response. The results of the study show the process of using Shared Reading method can improve students? loud reading ability of the pre-cycle reached completeness by 26%, then increasing in the first cycle reached completeness by 46%, whereas in the second cycle, the results of the tests showed completeness reached 79%. This Action research concludes that students ability to read aloud increases through Shared Reading method in high school students in the elementary school year 2019.} }
