		abstract={The research was aimed at measuring financial performance at PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk. from 2013 to 2017 period by applying Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA).If both EVA and MVA measures more than 0 then the financial performance is good and if EVA and MVA measures less than 0 then the financial performance is bad. The aim of the research was to find out added value at PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk. The research deployed quantitative descriptive method which can be analyzed by means of the company's financial data from PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk from 2013 to 2017. 
The results of the research show that there is added value at PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk. for 2017 period; meanwhile, there were no added values for 2013-2016 periods by means of EVA method. Furthermore, by means of MVA method, PT. Hero Supermarket possesses added value that the company can create wealth on shareholders although the decreasing number of MVA each year is caused by stock price which is declining.}
