		abstract={Along with the increase in time, the road has decreased the pavement performance conditions. Handling of pavement contruction will be carried out optimally if the factors causing the damage to the road section are known.The stages of evaluation of road surface conditions is to conduct an assessment of existing road conditions. The value of this road condition will be used as a reference to determine the type of evaluation program that must be carried out, whether the improvement; periodic maintenance; or routine maintenance. Two methods that can be used in assessing road conditions are the SDI method (Surface Distress Index) and Bina Marga Method (BM). This research was conducted by means of a visual survey that aims to assess the condition of road pavement in order to determine the type and level of damage on the surface of the road pavement CisaatSitugunung Sta 0+400-5+400.
From the analysis of the data generated, the BM method has a value of 13,76 types of routine maintenance handling and the SDI method has a value of 111,45 lightly damaged road conditions. The planned budget for handling road damage for both methods tends to be the same, namely the BM method valued at Rp 774.948.000,00 while the SDI method worth Rp 744.057.000,00}
