The basin will be filled with water and form a body of water which later became known as the Sandpit Lake.The former situation of sandpit lake has the same potential as other waters. One of them is fishery activities. The purpose of this research was to study the structure of the phytoplankton community in Situ Galian Pasir No. 6 Cikahuripan Village and the relation to water quality parameters. This research was conducted in August-September 2017. Sampling consist of surface, Secchi, compensation, 5 meter and 9 meter. Physical-chemical measurements of waters including temperature, clarity, pH, and DO are performed in lake. The data were analyzed by using the Excel Stat 2018 program. The structure of the phytoplankton community was obtained by four classes and 31 genera including Bacillariophyceae (6 genera), Chlorophyceae (5 genera), Cyanopyeae (4 genera), and Desmids (3 genera). The index value of diversity range between 1.24 to 1.86, uniformity index range between 0.47-0.67, and the value of the dominant index of the value range obtained 0.23-0.44. The result of principal component analysis that the parameters affecting the abundance of phytoplankton is a temperature parameter.} }
