The sample consisted of two classes using pusposive sampling technique. The experimental class uses the ENCs Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) model and control class using conventional learning methods. The research method used is quasi experimental with design research nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted in SMPN 7 Kota Sukabumi. The instruments used are critical thinking skills in the form of multiple choice questions with the indicators of critical thinking ability include: (1) focusing questions, (2) analyzing questions, (3) asking and answering questions about an explanation, (4) considering whether the source is reliable or not, and (5) observing and considering an observation report. Then the questionnaire to find out the responses of learners to Search model, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) based on ethnosains used 10 statements. The results showed that the average value of N-gain of the experimental class was 0,71 higher than the control class of 0,27. Based on result of hypothesis test show Wcalc = 0,06 < Wtable = 95,36 then H0 refused and H1 accepted. The conclusion of this research is that the study model of Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) based on ethnosciences can improve the critical thinking ability of class VII students on the concept of environmental pollution. In addition, learners responded positively to the use of Search model, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) based on ethnosains.} }
