This study aims to: 1) To determine the role of the principal's interpersonal leadership in improving student achievement at SD Islam Terpadu Nurul Iman Purwantoro. 2) To find out the factors in the implementation of the principal's interpersonal leadership in improving student achievement at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School Nurul Iman Purwantoro. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach at SD Islam Terpadu Nurul Iman Purwantoro. The data collection of this study used interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants of this research were principals and teachers. The results of this study are: 1) The interpersonal leadership role of the principal at SD Islam Terpadu Nurul Iman Purwantoro is realized through 7 indicators, namely: a. Principal interpersonal attributes, b. Maintaining and fostering good relations, c. Motivate others, d. Delegating and empowering, e. Promote collective decision-making, f. Developing others, g. Appreciating and acknowledging others in improving student achievement. Interpersonal leadership is a powerful interpersonal communication tool that focuses on individual behavioral styles and the impact of different styles on the quality of personal and team performance relationships of the 13 indicators of interpersonal leadership, 7 indicators of interpersonal leadership are relevant to see the role of principal interpersonal leadership in improving learning achievement students and among the 7 indicators there is 1 indicator that stands out, namely motivating others, especially in this case is to motivate students so that student achievement at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School Nurul Iman Purwantror increases rapidly both at the sub-district, district and district levels. 2) two factors influence the implementation of the principal's interpersonal leadership in improving student achievement at SD Islam Terpadu Nurul Iman Purwantoro, namely supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include the competence of the principal is adequate, good cooperation with teachers and teaching staff, and good relations with the committee, parents, and the community, while the inhibiting factors are the presence of teachers who have not yet received an undergraduate degree, and inadequate infrastructure. incomplete, and the distance of the student's house is far from the school.
