This study uses a descriptive type of research and a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Gatak, totaling 14 people. Data collection techniques in this study used a concept map-based test, observation, interviews and documentation. With the validity of the data obtained through triagulation of methods and triagulation of data sources. The results that have been carried out show that students can reduce misconceptions using this Concept Map. The concept of the product produced in the photosynthesis process becomes the highest conception or understanding, while the concept of the photosynthesis process that requires light is the lowest conception or understanding. The causes or sources of misconceptions experienced by students come from misconceptions that come from teaching materials as much as 46.46%, and from their own understanding as much as 53.54%. Another addition from them is that sometimes the teacher explains the material to students is less varied, causing them to find it difficult to understand the material taught by the teacher and the teacher is more likely to like to explain the material without practicing it.} }
