		abstract={Franchising in the trade sector is one system that is considered very profitable, this has been proven by various national and international companies such as Kedai Kopi Kulo. In carrying out its business, legal protection is very important, this is to know and provide certainty that someone will get what their rights and obligations are. This study aims to explain the legal protection for the parties in the implementation of the Kedai Koli Kulo franchise agreement in South Sulawesi and the efforts that can be taken by the parties in the event of a default in the implementation of the Kedai Kopi Kulo franchise agreement in South Sulawesi. The research method uses the normative research method, the type of descriptive research, the type of data used is secondary data, the data collection method uses a literature study using qualitative data analysis. The results of the study show that the form of legal protection provided is in the form of preventive and repressive legal protection and the efforts that can be taken by the parties in the event of a default in the implementation of the Kulo Coffee Shop Franchise Agreement are deliberation and consensus.}
