Research Objectives: This study aims to prove the effect of giving cucumber juice on blood pressure values in hypertensive patients. Methods: This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group design, data collection using a digital sphygmomanometer, an observation sheet for blood pressure values, and 200 ml of cucumber juice given once per day for 7 consecutive days. Data analysis with Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney . nonparametric statistical test. Results: The results of this study showed that after 7 days of giving cucumber juice to the experimental group, there was a significant decrease in the average systolic and diastolic blood pressure values of (16.8 + 8.0) and (12 + 8.5) with a p-value both (0.001), the control group experienced an insignificant decrease in systolic pressure (2.5 + 3.0) with a p-value (0.863) and diastolic pressure (2.8 + 4.6) with a p-value ( 0.850). There is an effect of giving cucumber juice on the blood pressure value in the working area of the Tasikmadu Public Health Center Karanganyar with a p-value (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05 in systolic and diastolic pressure. Conclusion: Cucumber juice is able and has an effect on reducing the blood pressure value of hypertensive patients.} }
