This research was conducted in Kebonsari Village, Tuban District, Tuban Regency. The population of this research is 40 and the sample is 20. The sampling technique used in this study uses the questionnaire and observation methods. Indicators of democratic values used in this study are: (1) Togetherness; (2) Freedom of expression and respect for the opinions of others; (3) Receiving, supporting, and implementing the results of joint decisions; (4) Freedom of participation; (5) Prioritizing shared interests rather than personal interests. The validity in this study uses the Correlation Product Moment formula from Pearson. Reliability using the Shapiro Wilk test. Analysis of the data used in this study was paired sample t-test. The application of democratic values socialization through news videos with the modification of the Critical Incident strategy and Active Knowledge Sharing can increase the effectiveness of understanding democratic values in adolescents. The results showed that t count 15.66717819 was greater than t table 2.086 with a significance level of 0.05. The difference between Pretest and Posttest shows an increase in understanding among teenagers in Kebonsari Village, Tuban District, Tuban Regency between before (pretest) and after (Posttest). The average value of Pretest 48.3 increased to 57.55 at Posttest. Based on the two data are then compared so that the difference value of 9.25 is obtained. The results can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed by H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an increase in understanding democratic values in adolescents through news videos with a modified Critical Incident strategy and Active Knowledge Sharing or there is an increase in the pretest and posttest average scores.} }
