To be able to carry out good governance, professional government apparatus is required, this is a prerequisite in improving the quality of implementation and the quality of services that will be provided to the community. The implementation of development involving government employees or apparatus together with the people plays an important role, namely as implementers in carrying out development and as a pacemaker in all parts. The role of employees or state apparatus is very useful in carrying out tasks in their respective divisions, skilled, agile, and able to achieve an achievement of national goals, namely realizing a just and prosperous society that is both materially and economically. The importance of professionalism of the government apparatus is in line with Article 3 of Law Number 43 of 1999 concerning amendments to Law Number 8 of 1974 concerning the main points of employment which states that Civil Servants are located as elements of the State apparatus whose duty is to provide services to the community in a professional manner. , honest, fair and equitable in carrying out the duties of the State, government and development. Therefore, public services are needed by returning and placing the servants and those who are served in their true sense. Thus the performance of the government apparatus in providing public services will be better and in the end will produce good service quality as well. For example, the E-KTP service provided. E-KTP or electronic KTP is a population document that contains a security/control system both in terms of administration and information technology based on the national population database. The implementation of public services, especially E-KTP services by government officials, is a mandate from Law no. 23 of 2006 and a series of other regulations such as the regulation of law no. 35 of 2010 states the rules for procedures and technical implementation of E-KTP equipped with fingerprints and chips. The purpose of this study is to describe the performance of government officials in public services, at the e-KTP recording service in Krayan sub-district. And to identify the inhibiting and supporting factors in the performance of government officials in public services, in the e-KTP recording service in Krayan sub-district. In this study the type of research used is qualitative research, with a focus on research on the performance of the apparatus in providing e-KTP recording services in accordance with the Nunukan Regency Regional Regulation Number - 2017 concerning the Second Amendment to the Nunukan Regency Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2009 concerning the Implementation of Population Administration And Civil Registration In Nunukan Regency. And factors supporting and inhibiting data collection techniques used by researchers, namely, interviews, observation, documentation. And from the results of the study it can be concluded that the performance of the apparatus in providing services, especially in the e-KTP recording service at the Krayan District office is quite good, marked by attitudes, discipline, accuracy, action, responsiveness and how the apparatus realizes public complaints into an improvement in their service delivery. to society. Based on this, the performance of the sub-district government apparatus in providing services, especially in the e-KTP recording service at the Krayan District office, is in accordance with the Nunukan Regency Regional Regulation Number - 2017 concerning the Second Amendment to Nunukan Regency Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2009 concerning the Implementation of Population Administration and Registration Civil Servants in Nunukan Regency.} }
