		abstract={Technology rapid growth in a city which is based on the increasing population so that the need for space for mobility is also increasing. The formulation of the problem of this study, where government regulations are not optimal resulting in the transfer of functions of public spaces. The purpose of this study is to observe the impact caused by car culture on public spaces and to identify the factors that cause this phenomenon to continue to develop. The research method used is descriptive research, with qualitative and quantitative research approaches. The data technique uses observation, questionnaires, and open interviews. Based on the results of the data obtained and developed in the discussion chapter, there are changes that occur due to the phenomenon of car culture in the Marine Complex. These changes are a change in road circulation patterns and there is a public field that functions as a parking lot. Based on data collection and mapping conducted around 84 cars that use public spaces as parking lots.}
