The language style is one of the supporting aspects of a written text, and it is 
deeply connected to the other parts. The purpose of this study was to analyze the 
type of language style used in the lyrics of Billie Eilish?s album, the most 
dominant type of language style used in the lyric song of Billie Eilish?s album, the 
function of language style used in the lyric song of Billie Eilish?s album. The 
research methodology was qualitative methods. The technique of collecting data 
is by reading the lyric and analyzing it. The data which have been collected are 
analyzed by using the theory from Ruby Payne. The finding shows that there are 
three types of language styles based on Payne, there are casual style, intimate 
style, and consultative style. The dominant style that is used is casual. The 
function of the lyrics is to improve the taste of the audience, the goal of the song 
is to persuade the listener, and the song produces a specific mood.}
