		abstract={(ABSTRAKSI) Kita sering mendiskusikan tentang globalisasi pendidikan. Globalisasi tersebut akan mempengaruhi pendidikan di Indonesia. Semua perguruan tinggi akan menghadapinya, tanpa terkecuali salah satu perguruan tinggi di Yogyakarta, Universitas Sanata Dharma. Perguruan tinggi ini pernah mengalami masa keemasan dan dikenal sebagai lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang berhasil menciptakan lulusan yang berkualitas, masih berlabel IKIP. Namun dalam lima tahun terakhir jumlah mahasiswa mengalami penurunan dibandingkan tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Penurunan tersebut juga terjadi pada salah satu program studi di FKIP, yaitu di Program Studi Pendidikan Akuntansi. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan pengukuran kinerja pada Program Studi Pendidikan Akuntansi. Untuk memperoleh hasil yang komprehensif, penilaian kinerja dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga perspektif, yaitu pelanggan, proses internal, dan pertumbuhan.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi dari BAPSI (Biro Administrasi dan Perencanaan Sistem Informasi). Dalam perspektif pelanggan, tolok ukur yang dipakai adalah kegunaan bagi pelanggan, mutu jasa, waktu pemberian jasa, kesan dan reputasi serta hubungan pelanggan. Pada perspektif proses internal, tolok ukur yang dipakai adalah ukuran waktu penyelesaian kuliah dan ukuran mutu. Evaluasi berdasarkan perspektif pertumbuhan dilakukan berdasarkan ukuran utama dan ukuran pendukung. Tolok ukur untuk ukuran utama meliputi kepuasan karyawan administratif dan dosen, retensi karyawan, dan produktivitas dosen. Tolok ukur untuk ukuran pendukung meliputi kompetensi dosen dan penggunaan teknologi informasi.
Hasil analisis data dari perpektif pelanggan dan proses internal, kinerja Program Studi Pendidikan Akuntansi di Universitas Sanata Dharma belum baik. Walaupun dari perspektif pertumbuhan sudah baik. Agar program studi ini lebih baik kinerjanya di masa yang akan datang maka beberapa hal perlu dibenahi, meliputi sarana prasarana maupun fasilitas melalui perbaikan atau penggantian, penambahan jumlah dosen perlu dilakukan agar rasio dosen mahasiswa memadai dan juga peningkatan kualitas proses belajar mengajar. (ABSTRACT) We often discuss about globalization of education. The flow of globalization would attack the education in Indonesia. All of the universities should face it, included one of universities in Yogyakarta, Sanata Dharma University. This university had have the golden era, when it was IKIP that could produced the quality of its alumnus. But for five years last, the students decreased by comparing before. Decreasing also happened in one of the department is accounting education department. Based of phenomena, this department should be measured its performance. Getting comprehensive result, the performance evaluation is measured with three perspective, i.e. customers, internal process and growth.
This research is ex post facto research. The data of performance evaluation are obtained from distributing some questionnaires and the documentation of administration and planning information system (BAPSI). The key factors of perspective of customers are the customers benefit, quality, time of services, impression, reputation and customers relationship. The perspective of internal process are the time that using the student to finish of their study and quality. The perspective of growth use the main and supporting of measurement. The main of measurement are satisfaction of staff and lecturers, retention of staff and the lecturers productivity, and the supporting of measurement are the lecturers competency and information technology.
The result of analysis of the data in perspective of customers and internal process, the performance of accounting education department in Sanata Dharma University, are not good yet. Although the perspective of growth is good. The department should increase with improvement the facilities. Recruitment of the new lecturers should be done in order that the ratio of lecturers is properly, and also the improving of quality of learning process.}
