		abstract={In this recent era, the discourse upon polygamy once again appears with all its controversy. In Indonesia, marriage basically uses the monogamy principle but polygamy can also be conducted in certain conditions. This is regulated by Marriage Act Undang-undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974. Violations and controversy around this issue continuously appeared. Therefore the research upon polygamy discourse is still relevant to be conducted.
