By analyzing the discharge of roof runoff, here we can plan the absorption channel system. Here, from the discharge of roof runoff that occurs in G5 Building, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, we use it to determine its effect on the absorption channel system in research (Dhoni, 2016) and (Fahmi, 2016). From this study we see how effective the channel system is in research (Dhoni, 2016) and (Fahmi, 2016), which channel system model is the best if you want to use it as a drainage for G5 Building, Muhammadiya University Yogyakarta. We can see how much infiltrated and overflowed discharge in each model. This research was conducted by processing daily rainfall data from the rain station to find the minimum, average and maximum rainfall intensity at the return period of 1.1 and 2 years. From this intensity, the concentration time was sought using various methods as a comparison, then the FAA method was selected as the focus to find the roof runoff discharge. Then an analysis of the effect of roof runoff discharge on the drainage system is carried out. From the analysis, it is known that the research results (Dhoni, 2016) are better as a drainage system for G5 Building, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. with a 3 inch infiltration pipeline system, 0.25 meters distance from the study (Dhoni, 2016) where the largest infiltration value reaches 49.72% with the largest infiltration discharge of 5.31 l / s at the return period of 1.1 years and infiltration the largest 6.42 l / s at the 2 year birthday} }
