This is because Progo River has several tributaries that have a head on Mount Merapi. The abundance of material from cold lava sedimentation is an attraction for sand miners. The existence of sand mining can cause a morphological change of the progo river flow. In this study, an analysis of the value of sediment transportation was conducted to determine thegrasdasi and degradation that occurred. The method of data retrieval in the study was conducted by two methods, namely primary data and secondary data. The primary data from this study is hydrometric data from flow modeling results in HEC-RAS 4.1.0. While the secondary data include debit data from BBWSSO and sand mining production data from the PUP-ESDM DIY Service. As a result of this study, the number of sedimentary transports according to the Meyer-Peter & Muller equation upstream was 270,234.48m³/year, downstream at 213,556.40m³/year. According to the Frijlink equation sedimentary transport that passes upstream of the river is 346,919.39m³/year, at 342,799.99m³/year downstream. Meanwhile, according to Meyer – Peter & Muller equation in 2019 Progo River experienced degradation of 0.016 m/year, in 2020 there was a degradation of 0.894 m/year. According to the Frijlink equation there was a degradation of 0.046 m/year in 2019, while in 2020 there was a degradation of 0.924 m/year.} }
