ABSTRACT

The study aims to understand the point of similarities and dissimilarities between woman's knowledgeable  position in Islam and her other position in Western civilization, the role that performed by woman in spreading the Prophetic sunnah in the first of  three centuries  and the problems faced by moslem woman in sunnah spreading.

The research methodology is qualitative ?library research, and the study came into the conclusion that there were dissimilarities between Islam and western civilization in their fundamentals regarding  of woman's position for many aspects.  The researcher had paid more attention in her position in religion, social, economy and emotional. It is clear that Islam concerns about those various positions when the western civilization did not have the attention even did the otherwise.  Since that era, the book of samawi religions had experienced many changes, and when it opposes the human reality and his natural tendency  they bring justice with its positive law that had experienced changes.   On the other hand Islam had given direction with its texts  for  respecting woman's position with the fixed and fair Islamic texts.  

Moslem woman in early Islam and in the first of three centuries generally have the contribution  by bringing about important role in spreading sunnah.  The most valuable women  in that era were the ummahat al mu'minin, wives of Rasulullah like the honorable Aisha, Umm Salama and a number of his companions and it was continued in the 2nd century like honorable Hafsha and also in the 3rd century of Hijri like honorable Asma' bint Asad.  Regarding the problems faced by moslem woman in spreading sunnah, there are two matters, the first is the problems faced by moslem woman concerned with her existence and the second are the problems faced by her concerned with spreading sunnah that relates with society.  The first which relate with herself are : feeling of self-lacking and no vision and   respects and grades in the recent culture, no suitable method and her conviction for the interlocutors do not take any benefit from her.  While the most essential problems relate with society are : problems relate with responsibilty of domesticity, no paterfamilias ingratitude to the responsibilty of woman as a proselytizer, separative efforts of  woman among some agendas and no institutional work available for her

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sisi persamaan dan perbedaan antara kedudukan perempuan dalam Islam serta keberadaannya pada peradaban Barat lainnya, mengetahui peran yang dimainkan oleh perempuan dalam penyebaran Sunnah Nabi pada tiga abad pertama, dan mengetahui masalah yang dihadapi oleh perempuan Muslim dalam penyebaran Sunnah Nabi. 

Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kepustakaan, dan hasil penelitian ini dapat peneliti simpulkan bahwa: terdapat perbedaan antara Islam pada sumbernya dan peradaban Barat pada sumbernya pula serta  isu kedudukan perempuan dalam banyak hal. Dalam hal ini peneliti  lebih fokus pada masalah kedudukan dalam perspektif Agama, Sosial, Ekonomi, dan Emosionalnya, sedangkan Islam telah melindungi dengan berdasarkan nash-nash berbagai potensi perempuan, sementara peradaban bar}
