ABSTRACT The existence of entrepreneurial activity in Islamic boarding schools has become its own dynamics for the study of the schools today. The Spirit of Islamic boarding school value Is considered to fill the gaps in economic activity, which tends to be materialistic, to have more spiritual values. In addition, the result of the economic business of the schools can support the financing of the schools (including investment, operational, and personal) which is constantly increasing. More specifically, the economic activity of boarding school can be an alternative source of education financing. This economic activity has succeeded in becoming a new source of education financing in school to add the source of financing that have been commonly provided as donors (Zakat, Infaq, endowments, and Charity) by society, foundations, government and parents of students. The objective of this study is to find out more about the management of entrepreneurship as a source of boarding school?s education financing, in terms of: 1) concept of entrepreneurship a Resource of Education Financing of Islamic Boarding School; 2) strategy for the different types of entrepreneurial activity as a Resource of Education Financing of Islamic Boarding School; and 3) Implication entrepreneurship management for as Resource of Education Financing of Islamic Boarding School; in Maslakul Huda boarding school of Kajen Margoyoso, Al Istianah boarding schools of Plangitan Pati, and Manbaul Huda boarding school of Dukuhseti Kembang, Pati regency, Central Java. This study used a qualitative approach using multiple case study design. Techniques of collecting the data were interviews, participant observation, and documentation study. The collected data were organized, interpreted, and analyzed repeatedly using individual case analysis and cross-case analysis. Credibility of the data is checked by using triangulation procedure, member checking, peer discussions, persistence of observation. The result of this research shows that 1. Islamic boarding school entrepreneurship concept is manifestation of social practices of religious teaching (social fiqh). The values of islamic boarding school entrepreneurship are independence, honesty, sincerity, togetherness and blessing. Islamic boarding school entrepreneurship orientations are; a. enlarging the role of islamic boarding school (wider mandate).b. Islamic boarding school independency c. Enlarging social teaching practices (fiqh) d. Becoming a centre of vocational training e. Strengthening alumni network. 2. Strategy used in developing islamic boarding school entrepreneurship is interconnected diversity using triangle approach (1. Entrepreneurship, 2. Socio-ethic 3. Islamic teaching (fiqh) 3. The implication of islamic boarding school entrepreneurship in education financing consists of 3 steps. Basic performance, middle performance and high performance.
