ABSTRACT Developing interactive multimedia of Morals and beliefs lesson of seventh grade students at MTsN Kepanjen is based on the fact that the unavailability of instructional media of Morals and beliefs which uses interactive multimedia with a scientific approach. The result of this development was intended to meet the needs of learning, especially in the learning media, especially in MTs that was in the fact was conventional, so it took a new innovation for learning model that was applied by using interactive multimedia. The scientific approach is a response to globalization to respond to the rapid progress of science and technology. With the scientific approach is expected to give birth to the golden generation, who will think critically and innovatively. The purpose of this study was to explain how the procedure of interactive multimedia development on the subjects of Morals and beliefs for students of class VII at MTsN Kepanjen and to explain how the level of the attractiveness and effectiveness of the product development of the interactive multimedia. In the research of this development, the development model used a model of R & D Borg and Gall which had been simplified with several steps, namely (1) doing analysis of the product to be developed, (2) developing products, (3) expert validation and revision, (4) small-scale field trials and revisions, (5) a large-scale field trials and the final product. While the subject test consisted of subject matter experts, design expert, Morals and beliefs subject teacher and learners of class VII MTsN Malang Kepanjen. The research results of this development were (1) to produce interactive multimedia of subjects of Morals and beliefs by using an approach scientific for students of class VII at MTsN Kepanjen Malang, (2) product development had been proved interesting and effective to improve the learning outcomes of students who based on the results obtained from the questionnaire responses votes of Morals and beliefs subject teacher, it was 80% (good) and 96.7% (excellent), the responses of students of class VII MTsN Kepanjen was 91% (excellent). There was an increasing in learning outcomes, it was 22%, this was based on the pre-test of 71.4% and post-test score of 86.7%. Meet the completeness criteria studied was 91% that evidenced from the 34 learners who followed the post-test, 31 people got a score above 80 and 3 people got a score under 80.
