ABSTRACT The development of learning materials is fact that the lesson process is based on interview with teachers grade fourth Karangbesuki 3 Elementary School Sukun of Malang City, students lack of understanding the concept that has been to describe by teachers so the students can not communicate the opinion of views communicative, it?s marked many by doing exercise without group process. Therefore, researchers need to provide learning materials that can construct knowledge students with the guidance of teachers so that students can learn with communicative. Learning materials base Constructivism on Theme Take Care to the human being for increasing the of the lesson, because student can construct knowledge self so subject the lesson presented by the teacher can be understood and remembered it well. The objectifies from this research of this development purpose are (1) produce the product learning materials based Constructivism, (2) Determine the validity, effectiveness and attractiveness learning materials based constructivism, and (3) Knowing the influence of the using learning materials the result of lesson study. The method used in this research of this development is the Research and Development (R & D), which refers at the model of the Borg and Gall developed Sugiyono has ten steps in the procedure design and development. Subjects assessment products for the feasibility of learning materials is limited to three experts that matter experts and learning experts, expert design, and expert practitioners of the field, the target product trials that all students in grade fourth Karangbesuki 3 elementary school Sukun of Malang city. The results of the research the development of material based constructivism the criteria of validities by test result from the matter and learning equal to 86 %, design expert up to 82 %, field practioners expert up to 82%, and result of field trials up to 82%. the result of student?s pre-test mark average 62,34 and result post-test mark average 84. in t-manual test by significance level 0.05 obtained result t number > t table is 4,861 > 1,699 means rejecting ho and accepting ha. therefore, there are significant differences increasing the study at class IV Karangbesuki 3 elementary school Sukun of Malang city who use learning materials based constructivism on theme take care to the human being. it?s show that the product being developed has high quality of validity that consequently learning material which is being developed is appropriate to be used in learning.
