ABSTRACT

Background, Methods of simulation games as an alternative to make learning more effective and fun expected to increase the activity and student achievement in subjects Morals Aqeedah. And it turns out with the application of this method, can improve student achievement in subjects with quite satisfactory moral theology.

Purpose  of  this  study  was  to:  (1)  To  find  out  how  the  learning  plan Aqeedah Morals in class VII MTs Ummul Akhyar. (2) To find out how the implementation of learning Aqeedah Morals simulation method in class VII MTs Ummul Akhyar. (3) To know how to evaluate learning Aqeedah Morals in class VII MTs. Ummul Akhyar.

The  study  procedures,  this  study  design  using  classroom  action  research (classroom research) with the kind of participatory collaborative. Techniques of data collection is done by using observation, interviews and documentation. Qualitative data were analyzed with descriptive qualitative and quantitative data were analyzed with descriptive quantitative analysis and visual presentation.

Results, Based on data of the field shows the average value of the pre test at Morals Aqeedah lessons is 51, while the standard of success that is owned by MTs Ummul Akhyar is 65. In addition, the application method simulation game in

MTs Ummul Akhyar proven to improve learning achievement Morals Aqeedah of students in the subject. Results of field observations indicate achievement of pre test to cycle 1 by 45% from cycle 1 to cycle 2 increased by 60% and from the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 15%, and the application of simulation game method can also increase student activity.

Morals Aqeedah learning at MTs Ummul Akhyar still using learning methods lecture and question and answer. Learning achievement of students of class VII Morals Aqeedah MTs Ummulul Akhyar still slightly below the standard KKM. This is proven by the data in the field that the average value of the pre test at Morals Aqeedah subjects showed 51, so that the need for restoration in the learning process Aqeedah Morals.
