ABSTRACT

Scouting is one of the extracurricular activity that have legalized  by the government, because scout believed can to make students have hight creativity and than to be character and which can be applied to the public. Scouting is one of the extracurricular activity in school which is based on the
code of ethics and code of honor in the form of Dasa Dharma and Trisatya is very relevant to edication and shape the character of childrent  nation. Because considering the phenomenon that occur at this time is any decrease in moral and character childrents of nation as a result of weakness
of character education and culture childrents of the nation. From the description above reseacher interest to lift the title of the thesis research titled the role of scouting education in Grow value Character of Student?s IPS at SMA Darrul Qur?an Singosari Malang, therefore the education in
culticating students? character will be achieved. 

In this research so  the writer to take the formulations of the problem as follows :  (1) How is the role of scouting education in fostering  values character childrent of class departement of XI Social Scient SMA Darrul Qur?an of Singosari Malang. (2) What are the factors to be suporting and inhibiting of the role scouting education in fostering values character childrent of class XI departement of social scient SMA Darrul Qur?an Singosari Malang. 

The purposes of this research is : 
(1) To know  the role of scouting education in fostering  values character childrent of class departement of XI Social Scient SMA Darrul Qur?an of Singosari Malang (2) To know What is the factors to be suporting and inhibiting of the role scouting education in fostering values character
childrent of class XI departement of social scient SMA Darrul Qur?an Singosari Malang. 

This research is used research qualitative metod to describe and illustrate about the role of scouting education in fostering  values character childrents departement of social scient in SMA Darrul Qur?an of Singosari Malang. The approach used in this research is approach of descriptive
qualitative. In collecting of date and than for analysis, researchers used techniques of collection date by using the method of observation, interviews and documentation for then to do trinangulation or compare the results of interview with observation and field notes Which have researcher get for doing research. 

Resulth of the research it has been done to can be concluded that :  1) The role of scout extracurricular very supportive in the form character of student SMA Drrul Qur?an Singosari Malang, this is because it is in accordance with the code athics and code honor of scout that }
