ABSTRACT

Nowadays, many youngsters get moral decline or being indecent such as rebelling against the parents, being impolite to the teachers, and so on. They may be caused by many factors for instance; getting in a social interaction, westernization through TV or internet, etc. To build characters,education is necessary, especially in Pondok Pesantren, an Islamic boarding school that is well known by its character education. Therefore, this study aims at how Pondok Pesantren Ulin Nuril Islamic Qayyidi (UNIQ) implements the character education and the result of the implementation.
	
A qualitative method was used in this study. The data was collected by three steps; (1) interview, (2) observation, and (3) documentation. The data was then analyzed by (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusion. 

The result of this research shown that the application of attitude education in UNIQ Islamic Boarding School use the concept of ablution. The meaning of ablution concept itself means that the students learn about cleanliness and purity, in the way washing the bodies when taking an ablution always uses for the good things. So that, students learn to clean or purify the heart, soul, body, and mind. To teach an attitude to the students, the method of teaching an attitude which is applied through an example and advice, habituation, and turath teaching, and direct teaching from Kyai. And the result of attitude teaching in UNIQ Islamic Boarding School, Malang branch, shown the good result. UNIQ Islamic Boarding School has already accomplished change the attitude of the students there with the background of naughty students became the students with attitude, so they can be useful person for the religion and people. It can be seen from the attitude of both students in UNIQ Islamic Boarding school either boys or girl and their attitude to Allah, to the other, and to the environment shown the result as taught in Islam.

ABSTRAK

Pada zaman sekarang, banyak pemuda-pemudi yang mengalami penurunan moral atau memiliki akhlak yang kurang baik. Seperti, durhaka kepada orang tua, tidak sopan terhadap gurunya, dll. Hal itu disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, seperti pergaulan bebas, pengaruh dunia barat yang ada di TV maupun internet. Oleh karena itu, untuk memperbaiki akhlak tersebut perlu untuk dilaksanakan pendidikan akhlak, khususnya di Pondok Pesantren yang notabene nya adalah Lembaga Pendidikan Islam yang terkenal dengan Pendidikan Akhlaknya.

Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Akhlak di Pondok Pesantren Ulin Nuril Islamil Qayyidi (UNIQ) Cabang Wilayah Malang Desa Pamotan ? Kecamatan Dampit. (2) Bagaimana hasil dari pelaksanaan Pendidikan Akhlak di Pondok Pesantren Ulin Nuril Islamil Qayyidi (UNIQ) Cabang Wilayah Malang Desa Pamotan ? Kecamatan Dampit.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan (1) wawancara, (2) Observasi, dan (3) Dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan (1) Reduksi Data, (2) Penyajian Data, (3) Penarikan Kesimpulan.
