ABSTRACT The development of the condition of the Indonesian nation has changed rapidly along with the actions of radicalism and terrorism which recently caused public anxiety. Not only in society, the action that is the impact of this radicalism has penetrated the education world. The reason, students as youth who are in transition and seek identity serve as the object of the radical movement. Therefore, the need for Islamic religious education as the material contains Islamic values that can provide knowledge to the learners as a preventive effort in counteracting the danger of terrorism in the education world. Departing from that, researcherisvery encouraged to investigate further about the integration of Character Education Values in Counteracting the Dangers of Terrorism in Islamic Education Learning at SMAN 08 Malang. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1. Planning Integration of Character Education Values, 2. The Implementation of Integration of Character Education Values, 3. The Impact of Integration of Character Education Values. In doing this research the researcher uses descriptive - qualitative research method. While the data collection methodsused are1. Observation, 2.Interview, 3.Documentation. To analyze the data, researcherused descriptive-qualitative analysis techniques using existing data to describe the reality in accordance with the actual phenomenon. In conducting interview the researcher took subjects: 1. Headmaster of SMAN 08 Malang, 2. subject teachers of Islamic Education, 3. chairman of the Curriculum and 4. and the studens of SMAN 08 Malang. For the documentation the researchertook photos of learning activitieand activities that exist in school. The results of this study indicate the existence of teacher'sefforts in integrating the value of character education in counteracting the danger of tetorism. This can be seen from the content of character values that have been integrated in learning tools, methods, and learning activities in the classroom. Not only that, the value of character education is also integrated in activities outside the classroom, such as: istighasah, flag ceremony, national mandatory song, and so forth. While the teacher's efforts in countering the unwantedterrorismdangerous,Islamic education teachers provide theoverview of the impact of terrorism, and provide good guidance to students. In addition, the school makes religious programs organized by religious fields in school ABSTRAK Perkembangan kondisi bangsa Indonesia telah berubah dengan cepat sejalan dengan aksi radikalisme dan terorisme yang belakangan ini telah menimbulkan rasa was-was di sekitar masyarakat.
