ABSTRACT

Islamic Religious Education is expected to foster tolerance awareness as an effort to understand the differences that exist in fellow human beings, so that with the implementation of Islamic religious education values can provide provisions to the learners to grow an awareness and develop aspects of a good spiritual life in order to realize the Moslem personality. The purposes of this study are: (1) To know how to internalize the values of Islamic education based on based on inter-religious tolerance in SMA Negeri 1 Kraksaan and; (2) To know the supporting and inhibiting factors in internalizing the values of Islamic religious education based on inter-religious tolerance in SMA Negeri 1 Kraksaan.

This research uses qualitative descriptive approach which is done with three (3) data collection techniques, they are: observation, interview, and documentation. This study is analyzed using interactive and analytical models from Miles and Huberman. With the data collection stage, data reduction, data presentation and verification/draw conclusions.

The results of this research shown that(1). The values of Islamic education based on tolerance developed at SMAN 1 Kraksaan are the value of similarity, value of freedom and justice value. Furthermore, these values are developed in 3 (three) processes, namely (1) The planning process through the provision of tasamuh material in the learning activities, religious lectures at the time of religious activities, open discussion outside the learning hours and the mandate of the ceremony coach; (2) the implementation process through discussion activities in the classroom and religious activities; (3) the process of habituation through the establishment of a culture of tolerance, help-help between fellow and cultural cooperation. (2). The factors that support and inhibit the internalization of the values of religious education based on religious tolerance among religious communities in SMAN 1 Kraksaan are: (1) Supporting factors that include the ability of educators in internalizing the values of Islamic religious education based on tolerance among religious people is good , tolerant school policies, and high student awareness about tolerance; (2) Inhibiting factors include: the influence of provocative social media resulting in an attitude of excessive fanaticism and negative external environment influence on inter-religious tolerance

ABSTRAK

Pendidikan Agama Islam diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran toleransi sebagai upaya untuk memahami perbedaan yang ada pada sesama manusia, sehingga dengan penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan agama islam dapat memberikan bekal kepada peserta didik untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran dan mengembangkan segi-segi kehidupan spiritual yang baik dan benar dalam rangka mewujudkan pribadi muslim seutuhnya. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) Untuk mengetahui proses menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama islam berbasis toleransi antar umat beragama di SMA Negeri 1 Kraksaan dan; (2) Untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama islam berbasis toleransi antar umat beragama di SMA Negeri 1 Kraks}
