ABSTRACT

The existence of a nation is determined by its own character. A nation which has a powerful character is able to transform into dignified and respected nation within others. Creating the character of nation can be obtained through education account. The implementation of education character is absolutely needed not only in the school environment, but also in the social environment. During the process of building character, it will not happen directly to the learners. However, that process is affected by the environment of relatives, friends, and school. The book of Personality Salon can be added as one of source knowledge, it contains of daily events and solutions or tips which are presented as a hope, in which, the book can be a reflection of reforming oneself into someone who has Islamic characters.

The purposes of this research were: (1) To describe the values of religious characters in the book of Personality Salon Don?t be Annoying Muslimah by Asma Nadia. (2) To find out the relevance between the values of the religious characters in the book of Personality Salon Don?t be Annoying Muslimah by Asma Nadia and the materials of Islamic Education according to Permendikbud No. 69 in 2013.

In achieving the purposes mentioned, a library research was conducted by collecting some related literatures through primary data source and secondary data source. Data analysis was applied by reducing the complex data, explaining the data and drawing conclusion.

The result of the study indicated that : (1) there are 18 values of the religious characters in the book of Personality Salon Don?t be Annoying Muslimah by Asma Nadia, they are, husnuzh-zhan, impartial, honest, ukhuwah, insyiroh, tawadhu?, good deed, qomawiyah, al-musawah, syukur, patience, civilized, well-behaved, emphaty, taqwa, amanah, munfiqun, and genuine.; (2) The relevance between values of the religious characters in the book of Personality Salon Don?t be Annoying Muslimah by Asma Nadia and the material of Islamic Education according to Permendikbud No. 69 in 2013 are husnuzh-zhan, insyiroh (tolerance), honest, impartial, good deed, and ukhuwah.

ABSTRAK

Eksistensi suatu bangsa sangat ditentukan oleh karakter yang dimiliki. Bangsa yang memiliki karakter kuat yang mampu menjadikan dirinya sebagai bangsa yang bermartabat dan disegani oleh bangsa-bangsa lain. Dan hal ini membentuk karakter bangsa dapat diupayakan melalui dunia pendidikan. Penanaman dan penerapan pendidikan karakter sekarang ini mutlak diperlukan bukan hanya di sekolah saja, tetapi juga di rumah, dan di lingkungan sosial. Dalam proses pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik tidak akan berlangsung dengan sendirinya, akan tetapi proses tersebut juga dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan baik lingkungan keluarga, teman, dan sekolah. Dengan buku Salon Kepribadian dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu tambahan pengetahuan, karena buku tersebut berisi tentang kejadian-kejadian sehari-hari dan terdapat pula solusi dan tips yang disajikan dengan harapan buku tersebut sebagai cermin untuk memperbaiki diri dan menjadi seseorang yang berkarakter Islami.
