ABSTRACT The importance of multicultural education in Indonesia is as important as the alternative way to solve the problem (to create the comfortable, peaceable, and tolerable condition in different societies) and also to implant the awareness of miracle in a diversity. There are some studies about multicultural that has been explained in the Qur'an which is not transformed into an easier discussion yet. In the other hand, analysing Qur?an surah Al Hujurat:11-13 and Al Maidah:2 can be one of the alternative way or solution because content consists of multicultural educational values. The problem of this research is about multicultural educational values that is existed in the Qur?an surah Al Hujurat:11-13 and Al Maidah:2 The aim of this research is to know the concepts, values and methods of multicultural education in the Qur?an surah Al Hujurat:11-13 and Al Maidah:2, so that it can be implemented to produce an awareness of diversity. To reach the aim above, the researcher chooses library research as the technic to collect and analyse the data of this research which uses the bibliographical sources as the primary data. Also, to describe and analyse the data, this research uses a descriptive qualitative method and tafsir ayah maudhu?i (thematic) as the approach of the research. Besides, to collect the data, the researcher uses a documentation while to analyse the data, the researcher uses a content analysis. The result of this research shows that there are 13 indicators of multicultural that have been studied in surah Al Hujurat:11-13 and Al Maidah:2, those are: peaceful, unity, humanity, equal rights, brotherhood, collaboration, democracy, tribe, understanding each other, equation of degree, respect each other, justice, helping each other. Here, multicultural educational values in Quran Surah Al Hujurat:11-13 and Al Maidah:2 are: 1) Pluralism, 2) justice, 3) humanity, 4) democracy, 5) unity. The method of how to embed all the values into these attitudes: knowing each other, avoiding treatment, avoiding disfigurement, avoiding to give a bad name in calling others, avoiding to looking for the weaknesses of others, avoiding gossiping while in surah Al Maidah:2: avoiding to hate others, avoiding to maltreat others, and helping others. ABSTRAK Pentingnya pendidikan multikultural di Indonesia sebagai sarana alternatif pemecahan konflik (terciptanya kondisi nyaman, damai, toleran, dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang berbeda) serta penanaman kesadaran adanya keniscayaan sebuah keberagaman. Banyaknya kajian multikultural tersebut dalam Al-Qur?an yang belum dituangkan kedalam bahasan yang mudah difahami secara umum. Daripada itu, analisis Al-Qur?an surat Al-Hujurat ayat 11-13 dan Al-Maidah ayat 2 dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif karena sarat akan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural yang terkandung dalam Al-Qur?an surat Al-Hujurat ayat 11-13 dan Al-Maidah ayat 2. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menjawab 3 hal: 1.) untuk mengetahui kandungan konsep, 2.) nilai-nilai, 3.) dan metode pendidikan multikultural dalam Al-Qur?an surat Al-Hujurat ayat 11-13 dan surat Al-Maidah ayat 2 sehingga mampu ditanamkan dan menghasilkan sebuah kesadaran akan keberagaman.
