ABSTRACT Education is determined as the primary factor in developing the consciousness of multicultural life values. Islamic education as a part of national education system has primary responsibility. Islamic education multicultural-oriented helps the student in understanding, receiving and respecting people from other ethnic group, culture, values and religion. One of the educational institutions which apply the Islamic education multicultural-oriented is SMK Sepuluh Nopember Sidoarjo. The diversity that exists in SMK Sepuluh Nopember Sidoarjo probably provides the conflict caused by sentimental ethnic, religion and culture. A teacher has a huge and serious duty. The basic thing that must be instilled is the moral. Through the good instilling values, the student is expected to have good moral and habit, moreover in term of toleration. This research aims to explain the strategy used by the teacher in instilling moral values multicultural-oriented in SMK Sepuluh Nopember Sidoarjo and to reveal the factors that could support or complicate the instilling of moral values multicultural-oriented in SMK Sepuluh Nopember Sidoarjo. In order to gain the above objectives, this research deals with qualitative approach, that is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection is done by using the interview, observation and documentation method. Then, the data is analysed by reducing the irrelevant data, revealing data and dragging the conclusion. The result of this research reveals that, 1) the strategy used in instilling the moral values multicultural-oriented is conducted in several ways such as, through socialization, role model, implementation and acccostumed. 2) The supporting factors in instilling the moral values multicultural-oriented are the students self-conscious, teacher as the role model and school policy. Meanwhile, the factors that complicate the instilling moral values multicultural-oriented are the lack of class alocation on Islamic education, the abuse of gadget, and the lack of parental participation in helping the school to instil the moral values ABSTRAK Pendidikan dipandang sebagai faktor penting dalam menumbuh kembangkan kesadaran nilai-nilai kehidupan multikultural. Pendidikan Islam sebagai bagian dari sistem pendidikan nasional mempunyai tanggung jawab yang penting. Pendidikan agama yang berwawasan multikultural membantu siswa mengerti, menerima, dan menghargai orang dari suku, budaya, nilai dan agama yang berbeda. Salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang menerapkan pendidikan agama berwawasan multikultural yaitu SMK Sepuluh Nopember Sidoarjo. Dengan kearagaman yang ada di SMK Sepuluh Nopember tidak menutup kemungkinan terjadi konflik yang disebabkan oleh sentiment suku, agama, dan budaya. Guru memiliki tugas yang berat dan banyak. Hal yang paling mendasar ditanamkan adalah akhlak. Melalui penanaman akhlak yang baik diharapkan siswa mampu berakhlak serta berperilaku yang baik terlebih dalam hal bertoleransi kepada sesama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan strategi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai akhlak berwawasan multikultural di SMK Sepuluh Nopember Sidoarjo serta menyebutkan factor-faktor yang menjadi pendukung dan factor-faktor yang menghambat penanaman nilai-nilai ak} }
