ABSTRACT

Teachers play an important role in the process of learner?s good morality, because students who are still sitting in junior high school or Madrasah Tsanawiyah still need guidance and supervision so that they do not fall into the life of the unwanted. Islamic Education Teachers is not just teaching confidence and rules but must be able to change the attitude or behavior of the students in accordance with the teachings of Islamic religion both in every time and period.

This study aims to reveal: (1). The role of Islamic religious education teacher in shaping learners good morality In Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri bangil pasuruan regency. (2). Strategy of teacher of Islamic education in forming learners good morality at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri bangil pasuruan Regency. (3). Method teachers of Islamic education In forming good attitude learners In Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri bangil pasuruan regency.

Data collection was done by in-depth interview, participant observation, and documentation. The research informant is the principal of MTs Negeri bangil Islamic religion teacher of MTs Negeri bangil teacher Bk MTs Negeri bangil. Collected data is organized, interpreted, and analyzed using descriptive analysis. While checking the validity of data using triangulation of sources and methods.

The research findings show that: (1): The role of Islamic religious education teachers in shaping good attitude students In Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri bangil pasuruan regency, focused on three roles, namely: A. Teachers as motivators. B. Teacher as a good example. C. Teachers as mentors (2): Strategy of teachers of Islamic education in forming learners good morality In Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri bangil pasuruan regency, PAI teachers create work programs in the form of activities that must be implemented by all students, namely: A. Cultivate the behavior discipline. B. Examination of order. C. Cultivate polite behavior. D. Reading prayer (Pray together) and reading the Qur'an. E. Have a midday prayer congregation (3): Teachers methods of Islamic education In forming learners good morality In Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri bangil pasuruan regency. The methods used by teachers PAI in the formation of morals students In Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri bangil, among others, as follows: A. The method of story. B. Exemplary method. C. Methods of training and habituation. D. Method of demonstration. E. Methods of reward and punishment

Guru berperan penting dalam proses pembentukan akhlakul karimah peserta didik, karena peserta didik yang masih duduk dibangku Sekolah Menengah Pertama atau Madrasah Tsanawiyah masih sangat memerlukan bimbingan dan pengawasan agar mereka tidak terjerumus kearah kehidupan yang tidak diinginkan.
