ABSTRACT Listening is receptive skill that give big contribution to productive skill (speaking and writing). Listening is very influence to another lesson. The importance of listening in daily live is effective communication that can be influence self-development, behavior, and social relationships. Nowadays, there is limited teaching materials that can used by the teacher to encourage the students? interest and motivation, especially in listening. The purposes of this research are, First, to produce the Indonesian teaching material based on multimedia. Second, to produce the Indonesian teaching material based on multimedia that have high effectiveness and efficiency. Third, to produce the Indonesian teaching material based on multimedia that have high attraction. This research is research and development that the research methods used to produce certain product and test the effectiveness of the product. The development method that used Alessi and Trollip method that have four stages: (1) the potential and problem, (2) data collection, (3) design and product, (4) product validation, product revision, product trial, utility testing, product revision, massive production. The results from this research is interactive listening teaching media about folklore packed in CD or file. The result of expert validation on lesson and teacher is 85% (good category). The result of planner expert validation and teaching media is 94,4% (very good category). The result of individual students trial is 91,4% (very good category), small groups? result is 85,2% (very good category), and field trials? result is 90,1% (very good category). The students? response is very good with percentage 95,5%. The effectiveness of teaching material increased showed by the development before and after posttest, and the percentage is 9,7%. Based on the research, the conclusion is Indonesian teaching material based on interactive multimedia identify that the element of folklore is suitable to use. The advice is make this teaching material for learning stimulus that can used to learning supporting for the teacher or the students. The next development can focus on students? process with adding the material, then they can access the file by online based android and there is the report about the learning. ABSTRAK Keterampilan menyimak adalah keterampilan reseptif yang memberikan konstribusi besar terhadap keterampilan produktif (berbicara dan menulis). Menyimak sangat berpengaruh terhadap mata pelajaran yang lain.
