ABSTRACT

Students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Islamic State University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang have difficulty in learning Arabic, especially in memorize vocabulary. In this case because of several factors; the majority of them are high school graduates who have not studied arabic language before, have never been in boarding school before, and they are really need Arabic learning media especially in PKPBA because the material is about medicine. And this learning media "ghibhoh" can improve to memorize vocabulary quickly and happily, and they will be passionate and spirit in arabic learning.

This research aims; 1). To describe the development of songs for learning of sciences vocabulary for Students Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. 2) To know advisability of songs of "Ghibthoh" for learning of sciences vocabulary for students Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. 3) To know the effectiveness songs of "Ghibthoh"  toward students Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

This research uses research and development method ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Data colletion uses interview, questionnare and tests (pre-test and post-test).

The results are; 1) Step of the development of arabic learning media "Ghibthoh" using research and development method ADDIE, consists of Analysis, Design media, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. 2) The media "Ghibthoh" is suitably, this is based on assessment by 3 validators, validator of language (92,8%), validator of music (95,65%) and validator of design (90,7 %). They say that media ?ghibthoh? is valid and proper 3). The media "Ghibthoh" is effective it is based on sample paired t-test which says that the significance results is 0,000 < 0,05. Thereby, there is significant differences of students scores between before and after using the arabic learning media "Ghibthoh". And the hypotheses this thesis is acceptance

ABSTRAK

Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu- Ilmu Kesehatan di Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar bahasa arab, khususnya dalam mengingat kosa kata. Dalam hal ini di karenakan beberapa faktor, di antaranya; Mayoritas dari mereka lulusan SMA yang tidak belajar bahasa arab sebelumnya, tidak pernah di pondok pesantren sebelumnya, dan mereka sangat butuh media pembelajaran khususnya di PKPBA karena materi di dalamnya tentang kedokteran. Dan media ?ghibthoh? ini adalah media yang menarik yang bisa meningkatkan hafalan kosa kata dengan cepat dan gembira, dan mereka akan bersemangat dalam belajar bahasa arab 

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1). Untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan lagu-lagu ?ghibthoh? dalam belajar mufrodat kedokteran untuk mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu- Ilmu Kesehatan di Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, 2). Untuk mengetahui kelayakan lagu-lagu serta 3). Untuk mengetahui efektifitas lagu-lagu ?Ghibthoh? untuk mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu- Ilmu Kesehatan di Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

Adapun jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi dan Evaluasi). Sedangkan untuk mengumpulkan data menggunakan wawancara, angket serta test (pre-test dan post-test).
