ABSTRACT Textbook is one of the tools or media learning is a very important presence in the learning process. Neither in the Arab language learning textbook is indispensable to support the motivation, skills of students. While learning Arabic in Islamic Kindergarten of Nurul Huda 2 Mojokerto is learning Arabic teacher-centered, so that students are easily bored and not too enthusiastic in learning Arabic. As for the formulation of a problem in this research are: (1) how the Arabic language textbook development for Islamic Kindergarten of Nurul Huda 2 Mojokerto City? (2) How the effectiveness of learning Arabic books for Islamic kindergarten of Nurul Huda 2 Mojokerto City? (3) What are the characteristics of the textbook for Islamic kindergarten of Nurul Huda 2 Mojokerto City? Research objectives (1) Knowing the textbook development for Islamic Kindergarten of Nurul Huda 2 Mojokerto City (2) Knowing the effectiveness of textbook for Islamic Kindergarten of Nurul Huda 2 Mojokerto (3) Knowing the characteristics of the textbook for Islamic Kindergarten of Nurul Huda 2 Mojokerto City. In this study, researchers used the approach to Research and Development (R&D) model Borg and Gall, who preceded by needs analysis use of book Arabic basic level. With the method of data collection in the form of observation, interview, the now, the pre test and documentation. With the method of collecting data in the form of observation, interview, questionnaire, pre test, post test and documentation.For the expert test results from content and language experts achieve the value of 90%, from the book design experts reach 100% value means this textbook is very good to be implemented to the students of the kindergarten level. And also post test result show that there is an increase of value in experiment class, control class get average result of post test value 78,67 and there is improvement in experiment class with average post test value 93,33. This research shows that the use of Arabic language textbook in Nurul Huda 2 Islamic Kindergarten is effective, it is proved by the value of t-test 18,330 bigger than t-table value is 2,145. This indicates that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of this study indicate that the developed Arabic language textbook is excellent, expressed by the rapidly growing student learning motivation, varying student abilities, and their characteristics. This study also shows that the textbook is very liked by the students because there are characteristics of the book in the form of Arabic mufrodat singing so as to facilitate them in understanding the Arabic material. ABSTRAK Buku ajar merupakan salah satu alat atau media pembelajaran yang sangat penting adanya dalam proses pembelajaran. Begitupula dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab buku ajar sangat diperlukan untuk menunjang motivasi, keterampilan siswa. Sedangkan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di } }
