ABSTRACT An expansion of using a language on public life now more decrease, especially in terms of speaking Javanese language, furthermore too much phenomenon which is often encountered such us the people who are easily did not use a Javanese language but rather using (ngoko) speech level of Javanese language to old people in the school or outside the school. Therefore school as the place where has the important role to educate how to speak of student especially Javanese. One of the efforts made that?s are with increasing the ability of student?s speak especially Javanese with appropriate and right strategy existence. The guidance of student?s speak can be managed and can increased the ability of Javanese speaking in the school or outside the school. The aim of the research is to : (1) describe the ability student?s speak Javanese language in the MI Muhammadiyah 19 Sidokumpul Lamongan, (2) find out teacher?s strategy to increase the ability student?s speak in the MI Muhammadiyah 19 Sidokumpul Lamongan, (3) understands thefactors based on student?s ability to speak in the MI Muhammadiyah 19 Sidokumpul Lamongan. To reaching the goal of above, is used an approach descriptive qualitative research. Object that observed is the students of MI Muhammadiyah 19 Sidokumpul and focus on third class to sixth class then on this research a researcher is using a several method on collecting data process, that?s are interview method and documentation method. Data was analyzed with reduction ways, exposed and take a conclusion. The result of the research shows that?s are : 1) student?s ability to speak especially Javanese language which is the students of MI Muhammadiyah 19 Sidokumpul Paciran Lamongan have ability to speak of other Javanese language because not all students have the ability to speak krama inggil Javanese language. There is also less good to speak karma inggil. Sometimes the students are using mix language when having dialogue with the teachers, whereas krama inggil Javanese language is the compulsory used when talk with old people. 2) strategy is used to increase student?s ability to speak Javanese language with applied a vocabulary of Javanese less than 5 to 10 vocabularies that?s using to adding the student?s memories and easily the student to speak Javanese, there for other strategy can increase student?s ability to speak Javanese language that is apply dialogue strategy or communicate in Javanese language can increase student?s ability to speak Javanese language and training the student as usual to speak with old people with krama inggil Javanese language. 3) based on factor ability to speak Javanese is families environment since young has been teach to their children speak use (ngoko) speech level of Javanese language if that child has been grown will accustomed to talk (ngoko) speech level of Javanese language and less accustomed using krama inggil Javanese la} }
