ABSTRACT School is a learning place for students, and classes where teachers teach students. This learning effort requires optimal learning conditions. The main task of the teacher is to create a conducive atmosphere in the classroom so that the interaction of teaching learning that makes students active, creative, happy, so that students spend more time in the classroom and learning objectives can be achieved. In creating this comfortable classroom it is necessary to adjust the conditions in the classroom, from the arrangement of furniture, lighting, floors, walls, paint colors, drawings, posters, student work displays and classroom sizes. Teachers should be able to create a classroom environment that fosters the educational development of the subject. Especially in thematic learning. Based on the background, the writing of this thesis aims to describe student management, classroom management, supporting factors and inhibiting classroom management. This research includes qualitative research with descriptive approach. Technique of taking data through observation, interview and documentation. To analyze the data used descriptive qualitative method, namely description based on the symptoms that appear. In order for the results of research work well, then the process of data analysis is done with data reduction steps, data presentation, withdrawal conclusions that provide data analysis. From result of research can be concluded that: a. Psychological management (students) in thematic learning in MI Nurul Hikmah Malang is a teacher managing student activities, in this case defined as a business or activity to provide guidance, direction, stabilization, improvement of mindset, mental attitude, and skills of learners. b. Physical management (classroom environment) in thematic learning in MI Nurul Hikmah Malang is the teacher's effort in creating a comfortable classroom for thematic teaching process in the classroom. c. supporting factors and inhibiting classroom management in thematic learning is a series of classroom learning activities that require follow-up evaluation in order to improve and develop. ABSTRAK Sekolah merupakan tempat belajar bagi siswa, dan kelas tempat guru membelajarkan siswa. Usaha membelajarkan ini memerlukan kondisi belajar yang optimal. Tugas utama guru adalah menciptakan suasana kondusif dalam kelas agar terjadi interaksi belajar mengajar yang membuat siswa aktif, kreatif, senang, sehingga siswa lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu di kelas dan tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Dalam menciptakan ruang kelas yang nyaman ini diperlukan berbagai penyesuaian kondisi di dalam ruang kelas, mulai dari penataan perabotan, penerangan, lantai, dinding, warna cat, gambar, poster, pajangan karya siswa dan ukuran ruang kelas. Guru harus dapat menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang membantu perkembangan pendidikan subjek didiknya. Khususnya dalam pembelajaran tematik. Berpijak dari latar belakang tersebut, maka penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan siswa, pengelolaan lingkungan kelas, faktor pendukung dan penghambat pengelolaan kelas.
