ABSTRACT Character of discipline is a behavior that reflects someone obedience in implementing applicable rules. The character of discipline is an important thing. Without the awareness of compulsion to implement the determined rules before, it needs a habituation method in order to build a strong students character. The character of discipline can be determined from 10 (ten) indicators that is exist in BSS Primary School. Based on the phenol mena above, this research aims to describe; 1) the implementation processes of habituation method in building the character of discipline of students in BSS Primary School, and 2) the implementation impacts of habituation method in building the character of discipline of students in BSS Primary School The research approach is a qualitative field research. In collecting the data, this research uses observation, interview, and documentation method. The researcher analyses the data with data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The Test Validity of the data is implemented with prolongation of participation, perseverance of observation, and triangulation (source, method, researcher and theory). The results of this study shows that; 1) the implementation processes of habituation method in building the character of discipline of students are; a) to create a character building started from an early stage, b) to be well-dressed and to check the neatness of students? uniform, c) to socialize their parents through social media and meeting at when taking a report card, d) to show character in the middle of learning process, e) and to make class rules. Efforts to do are a) to make and implement the class rules, b) to implement an order of school board, c) to hold evaluation of discipline, e) to motivate, f) and to hold the socialization with the parents. 2) The implementation impacts of habituation method in building the character of discipline of students have been implemented as what are expected. It is proven with the achievement of the character of discipline of students. They are disciplined with the obedience of order by coming into the class on time, being well-dressed and in accordance with the schedule, and with the time by following the Duha and Zuhr prayers schedules, spending studying time which is in accordance with the each class schedule, and with cultural literary for 15 minutes before the bell ringing. ABSTRAK Karakter disiplin merupakan perilaku yang mencerminkan ketaatan dalam menjalankan peraturan yang sudah berlaku. Karakter disiplin hal yang penting. Tanpa adanya kesadaran akan keharusan melaksanakan aturan yang sudah ditentukan sebelumnya maka membutuhkan metode pembiasaan sehingga mampu membentuk karakter siswa yang kuat. Karakter disiplin dapat di ukur dari 10 indikator-indikator tersebut di SD BSS. Berdasarkan fenomena di atas, maka penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan; 1) proses implementasi metode pembiasaan dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa di SD BSS, dan 2) dampak implementasi metode pembiasaan dalam membnentuk karakter disiplin siswa di SD BSS. Pendekatan peneliti yaitu pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Uji Keabsahan data dengan perpanjang keikutsertaan, ketekukan pengamatan, dan triangulasi (sumber, metode, penyidik, dan teori).
