ABSTRACT

The research began with the results of field study that conducted by researchers at the University and all the faculties in it. The results of that study showed University of Tripoli encountered administrative difficulties and organizational problems, and also follow-up recommendations of various studies. 

The research aims 1) to determine the lecturer's perspective on the demand of strategic managementimplementation at University of Tripoli, 2) to determine the level of the demand of strategic management implementation at University of Tripoliin lecturer's perspective, 3) to determine the significant difference of lecturer's response according to the following variables (career path, educational qualification and experience), 4) to determine the suggestions that can assist in the strategic management implementation according to the lecturers? perspective. 

The researcher used descriptive qualitative and quantitative research methods. It meant this research used two methods (qualitative and quantitative). Data collecting was taken from interviews, observations and questionnaires. There were 65 employees in 2017-2018. The questionnaires were distributed to lecturers at University of Tripoli that contains 52 demands. It included: a. General demand to strategic management, b. Demands to strategic formation, c. Demands to strategic implementation and d. Demands to strategic evaluation. The researcher used some of the following statistical methods; percentage, average, deviation and test. To test the validity of the questionnaire, it was given to 6 experts at University of Tripoli, then tested the reliability of samples that have been taken through Alpha Croncbach's reliability test to the urgency of strategic management demands with a coefficient value of 0.94. 

The result shows 1) the demands of strategic management implementation at University of Tripoli require some of the following: understanding and standards, active roles, good communication, composure, stability, obedience, planning, managerial skills, the right people in each position, strategy evaluation according to the lecturers' perspective; 2- The implementation of strategic management is still low based on the lectures? responsesat University of Tripoli. 3- There is a significant difference between lecturers' responses according to the following variables (career path, educational qualifications - experience) with urgency and the possibility of the demand of strategic m}
