ABSTRACT

Reading skills is one of the important skills in language learning. Reading skills in learning (Maharah qira'ah) there are some problems facing student whom student difficulties in interpreting the vocabulary of Arabic, and students feel bored with a long Arabic text that seem difficult to understand. Therefore to overcome the problems in learning Maharah qira'ah need for innovation of using media. The medium used in this study is media-based computer by using Microsof Office Powerpoint program. The use Powerpoint in learning Maharah qira'ah quite appropriate because it can display Arabic text, images related to the theme, and votes if necessary.

The research objective used in this study 1), to knowing use of Power Point learning in reading skill learning 2) to knowing effectiveness of brain based learning in vocabulary learning. The research method used in this study is experimental research with quantitative approach; this research carried out at Bahrul Magfiroh Junior High school Malang in class IIa as experiments group and class IIb as a control group. The study lasted for 4 meetings, the instruments used in data collection is the test pretest and posttest in each group.

The results obtained from this research is 1), that the use of PowerPoint in the learning reading skills consists of multiple-resistant, which is good preparation stages of the preparation of the material with Power point, preparation tools used in the learning process, then the use of PowerPoint in the learning stage reading skills and the latter is the evaluation phase. 2), use the Power Point in reading skills learning is effective and can helping in increase the capability of mastering the reading skills of students. And that?s based on the calculation by using the T-test formula. The calculation of the "T" count is = 3.38. This result is greater than T table 2.39 on the significance of 1%, and 1.67 on the significance of 5%. In other words, the application of Power Point in reading skills learning is influential positively in learning of Arabic learning

ABSTRAK

Keterampilan membaca merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa, khususnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Dalam pembelajaran keterampilan Membaca (Maharah Qira?ah) terdapat beberapa masalah yang dihadapi siswa di antaranya kesulitan siswa dalam mengartikan kosakata berbahasa Arab, dan siswa merasa bosan dengan teks berbahasa Arab yang panjang yang terkesan sulit untuk dipahami. Maka dari itu untuk mengatasi masalah dalam pembelajaran Maharah Qira?ah perlu adanya inovasi berupa penggunaan media. Adapun Media yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah media yang berbasis computer dengan menggunakan program Microsof Office Powerpoint. Pengunaan Powerpoint dalam pembelajaran Maharah Qira?ah cukup sesuai karena dapat menampilkan teks berbahasa Arab, gambar yang berkaitan dengan tema, dan suara jika diperlukan.

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana Penggunaan Powerpoint dalam pembelajaran Maharah Qira?ah untuk siswa kelas II SMP Bahrul Magfiroh Malang. 2) Untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan PowerPoint dalam pembelajaran Maharah Qira?ah untuk siswa kelas II SMP Bahrul Magfiroh Malang
