"???????" ?? ?????. ABSTRACT Learning Arabic in school especially primary school relate strongly with use of instructional media so students can understanding at lesson as good as possible. Because according with the result of observation at As-Salam Islamic Primary School Malang there is a problem that students still find it difficult to understanding at Arabic vocabulary. From this problem researcher want to develop Pictotial Dictionary of textbooks used by students there is ?Aku Cinta Bahasa Arab 5? Researcher use model of development ?Addie?(Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation). As for the stages from model of development ?Addie? is follows : Analysis (need analysis and problem), Design (initial design), Development (development of dictionary, validation expert, justification), Implementation (field test, justification), and Evaluation (producing dictionary). As for the result of this development is Pictotial Dictionary be Based ?Thematic? of textbook ?Aku Cinta Bahasa Arab 5?. As for the data collection techniques that used researcher are : 1) observation, 2) questinnarie, 3) examination (pre-test & post-test). Researcher raised two formulation of the problem are : 1) how to development pictotial dictionary be based ?thematic? for increase learning arabic in class 5 at SDI As-Salam Malang. 2) how the effectiveness of the use pictotial dictionary be based ?thematic? for increase learning arabic in class 5 at SDI As-Salam Malang. As for the result from validation expert especially design expert are 86,6 %. As for the result from validation expert especially content expert are 91,25 %. Of two result from validation expert it?s mean that pictotial dictionary be based ?thematic? is very fit to use in learning Arabic. As for the result from pre-test of field test are 72,7 % and post-test of field test are 95 % and enhancement from examination (pre-test & post-test) are 21,6 %. From these result indicates that learning Arabic by using pictotial dictionary be based ?thematic? are effective. ABSTRAK Pembelajaran bahasa arab di sekolah khususnya di Sekolah Dasar atau Madrasah Ibtidaiyah erat hubungannya dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran supaya siswa mampu memahami mata pelajaran dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan peneliti di SDI As-Salam terdapat masalah bahwa siswa masih merasa kesulitan untuk memahami kosakata bahasa arab. Dari permasalah ini peneliti ingin mengembangkan kamus bergambar dari buku ajar yang digunakan oleh siswa yaitu buku ajar ?Aku Cinta Bahasa Arab 5?. Peneliti disini menggunakan model pengembangan ?Addie?. Adapun tingkatan dalam model pengembangan ?Addie? adalah sebagai berikut : analisis kebutuhan dan masalah, mendesain awal, mengembangkan kamus, validasi ahli, pembenaran, uji lapangan, pembenaran, memproduksi kamus. Adapun hasil dari pengembangan ini adalah kamus bergambar berdasarkan asas ?Tematik? dari buku ajar ?Aku Cinta Bahasa Arab 5?. Adapun teknik pengumpulan datayang digunakan peneliti adalah: 1) observasi, 2) angket, 3) tes (pre-tes & pos-tes). Peneliti mengambil dua rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu : 1) bagaiaman pengembangan kamus bergambar berdasarkan asas ?Tematik? guna meningkatkan pembelajaran bahasa arab di kelas 5 SDI As-Salam. 2) bagaimana efektifitas penggunaan kamus bergamabar berdasarkan asas ?Tematik? guna meningkatkan pembelajaran bahasa arab di kelas 5 SDI As-Salam.
