ABSTRACT

Speaking skills is considered one of the most important language proficiency in Arabic learning, especially  for Arabic learners. Because speaking skill is the goal of Arabic  learning  as the second language or as a foreign language, the speaking skills have a relationship closely with other language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing).  

In Arabic learning In Junior High School Syarifuddin Wonorejo Kedungjajang Lumajang researcher find some problems in Arabic learning process especially in speaking skill 1). Some students who did not get used to speak in front of the class because of the fear of making mistakes in language oral expression 2) and some bored and lack of activity in learning the skill of speech. To resolve these problems solutions, the reasearcher probably try some methods in Arabic language, especially in the speaking skill in verbal expression, and conclude Arabic teaching process becomes easy and comfortable

In this research questions are: 1) how to use cooperative script to improve the speaking skill In Junior High School Syarifuddin Wonorejo Kedungjajang Lumajang? 2) what the impact in improving speaking skill by using cooperative script In Junior High School Syarifuddin Wonorejo Kedungjajang Lumajang?

This research use an experiment method by quantitative approachment and consist of two groups, the first group is a non experiment class and the second group is an experiment class. But instrument used in collecting data are using pre-test dan post-test, interview and observation.

This research showing some results indicate that: 1) in Arabic teaching process in cooperative script method, that students feel enthusiasm and getting the motivation in speaking skill learning, otherwise they feel easily in oral expression, because in the process of teaching skill to speak in a way that makes enjoyable and comfortable in students process using a script cooperative method. 2.) research results indicate that the result of statistical t = 4, 61 then the researcher set t-table then the researcher examined the existing consequence of freedom (degree of freedom) of t-table found that result in level 1% = 2.42 and so more moral level result 5% = 2, 68, in the sense that H1 is acceptable, that means Arabic learning in speaking skill use cooperative script learning can improve the student?s skills in speaking skill by well, using the right grossary, the right pronouncaction and speak fluently and also can improve the student?s bravery in speaking. So, this method is so important for Arabic teacher in giving an attention for employing this method
