ABSTRACT

Writing is a change of ideas within the written symbol and the skills needed by someone to apply the rules of writing is good and right. Writing is one of the four language skills-based end in accordance with the arrangement of the four language skills. Therefore writing is a very important skill to master the Arabic language lessons, such as the problems that the researchers find in SMP Ar-Rohmah Boarding School Malang that most students do not feel happy in learning Arabic language, especially in the writing skills. The cause of the problem is: student in class 7 Rabani they find it difficult to master the skills of writing, and they spent a very long time in answering the questions, and the questions that the teacher was never about making up, but the material provided by the teacher is answering the questions because they are really a beginner. The researchers tried to solve it by using Group Investigation to improve writing skills.

The formulation of the problem in this research is: "how to use group investigation methods to increase writing skills and effectiveness use group investigation methods for increase writing skills in SMP Ar-Rohmah Boarding School Malang". The study design used is experiment with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, testing, interviews and documents. 

Results from these studies the use of Group Investigation methods with eight steps from start the division of the group until their evaluation that are described in the research. And use group investigation to increase writing skills in SMP Ar-Rohmah is effective. , With the results "t test" 4.46% greater than the significance level of 1% = 2.660% as well as 5% = 2,000, which means received or the research hypothesis is accepted. As well as the use of group investigation influential in teaching writing skills.

ABSTRAK

Menulis merupakan perubahan ide-ide dalam diri terhadap simbol yang tertulis dan juga merupakan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan seseorang untuk menerapkan kaidah tulis menulis yang benar. Menulis merupakan salah satu dari empat keterampilan bahasa yang berkedudukan akhir sesuai dengan susunan empat keterampilan bahasa tersebut. Maka dari itu menulis merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting untuk menguasai pelajaran bahasa Arab, seperti masalah yang peneliti temukan di SMP Ar-Rohmah Malang bahwasannya siswa kurang bersemangat dalam belajar bahasa arab khususnya di keterampilan menulis. Penyebab dari masalah tersebut yaitu: pembelajaran siswa dikelas 7 rabani mereka merasa kesulitan dalam menguasai keterampilan menulis, dan mereka menghabisakan waktu yang sangat lama dalam menjawab soal, dan soal yang diberikan guru tidak pernah tentang mengarang, akan tetapi materi yang diberikan guru memang menjawab soal dikarenakan mereka masih tingkat pemula. Maka peneliti mencoba memecahkannya dengan menggunakan metode Group Investigation untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis.

Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: ?bagaimana cara menggunakan metode group investigation untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dan efektivitas penggunaan metode group investigation untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis di SMP Ar-Rohmah Malang?. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, tes, wawancara dan dokumen.
