 The purpose of this study is to know about the perception of adolescents,
especially in the city of Surabaya to the streaming service on Youtube. The research
method used is descriptive qualitative in order to explain how the effects of the
impact of Youtube. And the theory used is new media theory which aims to determine
the perception of adolescents in the lead.

 The conclusion that can be from this research is that teenage perception of
Surabaya to streaming service on Youtube thisinformants have diverse perceptions of
streaming, Because Youtube is one of the social media that quickly provides learning
or entertainment Despite having a positive and negative impact.
